The Blaes Family

Mary Blaes started with Stang in 1999, and is our administrative assistant. She retired from Source North America at that time, and came to Stang to work part time. She is a pivotal part of our team, and is likely the voice at the other end of the phone when you call.
Mary enjoys to read in her spare time, especially in the colder winter months. During the summer, Mary will typically be found tending to her garden, enjoying herself outside.

Josh is the new Service Adviser for Stang Auto Tech. He joined our team in December of 2007. He has been in the automotive field for over 7 years, in service, parts, and the office side of the industry. This is Josh's first time at an independent shop, and he loves the change of pace from the hectic life of dealerships.
“I love the more personable approach Stang has over a lot of the places I have been – both as an employee as well as a customer. Being able to know customers on a one-to-one basis and spending the time to help them make the best decisions for them makes things more enjoyable day to day.”
Josh was recently married in October to Erin. Josh and Erin love the outdoors, and traveling, and are eagerly waiting to take their new son A.J. with them. Jeeping in Colorado and Moab , camping, fishing, hiking, and snowboarding are just some of the hobbies they enjoy. Josh also loves photography, and can be found outside waiting for something good to capture on film.

Mike has been here at Stang for nearly 9 years. He started fresh out of high school as a “Junior Tech,” while at the same time being enrolled in a state sponsored apprenticeship for 4 years. Since then, he has worked very hard in this industry. He was an ASE Master Certified tech by the time he was 21, and has worked his way up to become our lead tech. His skill and expertise ranks him among the top 5 % of technicians in the state, and has become a known name in the SCT tuning community for his custom computer tunes for high performance applications.
Mike is married to April, and recently had twin girls, Ally and Madison. Mike enjoys the outdoors, and working on his road racing Mustang project in his spare time. He also likes to snowboard during the winter.

Nick has been with Stang for the last 6 years. He joined our team after graduating from WyoTech, earning a degree in automotive repair. Nick worked hard, and earned his ASE Master Technician certification since then. Nick has since become a strong member of our team, striving to learn as much as possible in this ever changing industry.
Nick moved to Colorado from Montana , and is soon to be married to his fiancé Tangie. He enjoys taking care of his saltwater fish tanks, and on the weekends can be found ripping his race car around the Colorado National Speedway track.
